HYDRAULIC PUMP

CONTROL AND ADJUSTMENT

Hydraulic expertise

The pump is a key element in hydraulic systems.

An incorrectly adjusted or damaged pump causes serious machine malfunctions.
(Oil heating, engine stalling, miss force, pollution, etc.)

Piston pumps have very good volumetric efficiency. Below 90% efficiency the pump needs to be changed or revised.

Control of the pumps enables preventive measures, reducing the failure rate and reducing costs. An HS pump can pollute the entire hydraulic circuit.

To check the performance of the pumps, it is necessary to install a flowmeter and compare the theoretical flow to the flow measured under load.
